These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of EventCart Website, located at https://eventcart.ca.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use EventCart if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

Rental terms and conditions:

EventCart accepts no responsibility for any injuries, damage, or other incidents that may occur in connection with the use, storage, transport, or movement of the structure.

The renter is responsible for the participants. Under no circumstances can EventCart be held liable for an accident.

The renter is solely responsible in the event of bodily injury or damage to rented equipment from the moment it is entrusted to them. They are responsible for safety and supervision for the entire duration of the rental.

In case of rain, the decision will be made on the day of the event by EventCart. Please note that it is not in our interest to lend out an inflatable game that will be returned full of water. In case of cancellation on your part, there will be a 20% fee for canceling your order. In case of a change of date, there will be no related fees.

The equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was rented, i.e., dry, clean, and properly rolled up to ensure proper functioning. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in a charge of 20% of the total amount for deep cleaning.

• A quote request is only required for special requests with a minimum of $100 worth of merchandise (custom packages, complex events, large quantities, or special requirements).

• A 20% deposit is required to confirm and reserve the date.

• Once the reservation is confirmed, delivery, pickup, or installation details are finalized with the customer.

• The remaining balance must be paid upon receipt of the equipment.

Rental period:

• The standard rental period is 24 hours.

• Any extension beyond 24 hours will incur an additional charge equivalent to 50% of the initial amount.

• Any extension must be authorized in advance by email or text message.

Payment of deposit and balance:

• The 20% deposit must be paid by Interac transfer.

• The balance can be paid:

o in cash

o by bank transfer

In-store pickup:

• Pickup address

The customer must go to 932 Chablis Crescent, Embrun, Ontario, Canada. This is the only authorized pickup location, by appointment only.

• Pickup hours

Equipment can only be picked up during the following hours:

o Monday to Saturday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

o Sunday: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

• Suitable vehicle required

The customer must have a vehicle suitable for transporting the equipment (SUV, truck, or sufficient space).

If the vehicle is not suitable, pickup may be refused.

• Responsibility during transport

Once the equipment is handed over to the customer, they are responsible for it until it is returned.

The customer is responsible for any breakage, loss, or damage that occurs during transport.

• Return of equipment

The equipment must be returned in the same condition as when it was borrowed.

If it is returned dirty or damaged, additional fees will be charged.

• Handling of delays

If the customer arrives late and the service point is closed, they must return during the next opening period.

No pick-ups outside opening hours.

• No exceptions

For organizational and security reasons, no pick-ups or returns are possible outside the scheduled hours.

Delivery:

• Delivery is offered at no extra charge within a 25 km radius of Ottawa or Montreal.

• Some all-inclusive packages include delivery and installation within a 25 km radius.

• Beyond 25 km, delivery is possible upon special request.

Installation:

• Installation is included only in certain packages.

• When required, an additional fee may apply.

• The space must be cleared and ready for the team's arrival.

Location access:

• Equipment is delivered to the door or the most accessible location

• Any access constraints (stairs, floors, obstacles, distance, lack of elevator) must be reported in advance

• Additional fees may apply if access is more complex than expected

• The customer or a responsible person must be present at the scheduled time

Equipment pick up:

• Equipment must be pick up during opening hours

• If the equipment is not accessible or ready when we arrive, additional charges may apply

• The equipment must no longer be in use at the time of collection

It is strictly forbidden to:

consume food or beverages on the equipment

wear shoes or objects that could damage the equipment

exceed the recommended capacity

use the equipment in an unsafe manner or in a manner that is not intended

Failure to comply with these rules may result in:

immediate termination of use

additional charges

full billing for damages

Return of Equipment in Good Condition:

• Equipment must be returned in the same condition as when it was delivered.

• If the equipment is returned:

o dirty

o damaged

o or requiring additional cleaning or repair

additional charges will be billed to the customer.

• Charges will be assessed based on the condition of the equipment upon return.

Indoor/Outdoor Use and Weather Conditions:

• The equipment can be used indoors or outdoors

• In case of rain or unfavorable weather conditions, the event may be rescheduled, depending on availability

• No refunds will be given for weather-related reasons, but a postponement will be offered when possible

• The customer is responsible for providing a protective solution or bringing the equipment indoors

• Sell, rent, or sub-license material from EventCart

• Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from EventCart

• Redistribute content from EventCart

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.

Parts of this website offer users an opportunity to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. EventCart does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments before their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of EventCart, its agents, and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who posts their views and opinions. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, EventCart shall not be liable for the Comments or any liability, damages, or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.

EventCart reserves the right to monitor all Comments and remove any Comments that can be considered inappropriate, offensive, or causes breach of these Terms and Conditions.
